After what has felt like hundreds of debates they are finally over. I don’t think McCain did himself any favors tonight. His facial expressions seem to alternate between angry and creepy. Plus, he is not able to distance himself from Bush in any specific ways. Yeah, he can say he is not Bush, but what would he do differentely? The abortion discussion did not go well for him. He seemed to dismiss the idea that women should have any say over their own health and almost implied that the life of a mother-to-be would always be a good trade for an unborn fetus.
McCain seems overmatched both in presentation and ideas.
