Thanks to the bad economy illegal immigration is way down. I bet if McCain had won the election a we might have had a few more of republican economic policies and Mexico probably would have been trying to figure out what to do with all the impoverished people from the north sneaking across their border in search of work.

It’s a sad day when the USA could use a few million workers sending Pesos back home to their families in Texas, Kansas, etc. But, the bad economy DID go a long way toward quelling the immigration tide. Another benefit may be that all the war-mongering war-profiteering scamming no-added-value CEOs may jump ship and find another country to loot. Boy, wouldn’t that be the day!
