Adam Vinatieri a Colt?!?!?!?

With a higher cap and McGuinest already going to the Browns, it seemed automatic that Belicheck would have enough cash to lock this guy up.  The franchise tag was used on him in the past, and perhaps that’s the reason he’s going to Indy…regardless, I’m about to drink myself stupid over this.  Cheers.

I am stunned. This was unexpected-he will be the first pure kicker to enter the Hall of Fame. Wow!

  2. Chris Austin says:

Washington – who are your teams in each of the sports? Paul and I have a natural rivalry with Clemson-BC now an annual event in football. Sonicrusk is a Dodger/Angels fan, a big baseball fan. Right is a Seahawks fan. karl’s team is the Broncoes.

For me…BC, Pats, Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins (although not recently, since the strike)

  3. Van Helsing says:

Still only agreed on in principle(sp?). Per NFL rules a player’s agent must be so for a 3 day period before one can agree to a contract.

PS Chris read your yahoo.com, I sent you a few things earlier today

  4. Chris Austin says:

Will do – – – thanks for the kind reminder Van, I really hope we pony up the cash…damn, guess I shouldn’t have pounded that half bottle of Jack…

  5. Washington says:

Let me set them out for you:

    NFL: New York Giants
    MLB: New York Yankees
    NBA: New York Knicks
    NHL: Chicago Blackhawks

I guess Vanderjagt should have made that field goal.

I really thought the colts were going to go undefeated, I remember someone said Peyton manningg is the Dan Marino.

Sorry for the PAts loss, Vinateri is pretty cool for a kicker.

  7. Paul says:

Ray Guy and Dale Hatcher were two great punters. Remember them?

  8. Washington says:

    Paul:

I remember both well. Great punters.

Vinatieri is the clutch placekicker of all time -he will be in the Hall of Fame.

This is one time I wish the Patriots would break their rule of picking a number and sticking to it.

On the flip side, we know Flutie can do drop-kicks. Maybe he could be retrained?
