Not someone I’d expect spent a lot of time watching football…I’ve had a good feeling thinking he’s paying attention today.

Always a big fan of Mr. Cobain, even as I become old to teenagers. : )
Same here – – – I find myself thinking about him often. Unfortunately I’m reminded of Kurt most often while lamenting over how sold-out his former bandmate has become (Foo Fighters), or how ridiculously messed up his ex-wife proves herself to be on a daily basis.
Lightning in a bottle, that’s what he was.
Sometimes I think, “what a waste.”
Nirvava was influential, to say the least, throughout my high school years (1990-1994). I remember finding out about his death over the radio while at lunch with a buddy. We were both stunned, and got fucked up that night.
Cobain had immense talent.
The words of his songs continue to expand for me every time I hear them again. I can remember how experience has changed my idea completely about what one ‘really’ meant. That Unplugged album…
