I was lucky to have caught one of their performances here in W-Mass two years ago. My plan for 2004 was to get down to Jazz Fest in New Orleans…friends of mine told me stories of shows, shows and more shows…Funky Meters playing somewhere from 1AM to sunrise. Of course, something better came along, Sam and Max, and I never got down there.
This torrent right here is a DVD of their first post-Katrina show back in New Orleans. Very large in size, but if you’re a fan of music, you’ll be glad you took the time to download it. As is the case with every torrent I post, there’s absolutely nothing illegal about this. Just a way to appreciate one of the things that made New Orleans what it was, and will be again!
