Week 1 Picks

9-6 for Week 1 with Atlanta taking down McNabb and Owens tonight.

Weeks 1-5 are always my worst, but maybe this year will be different. I’m going with ‘vengence’ this week since nothing else seemed to make sense. Jacksonville, Detroit, Baltimore and Cincinatti burned me most often last year, so…

Cleveland +3.5 hosting Cincinatti
Seattle +3 at Jacksonville
Green Bay +3 at Detroit
Indianapolis -3 at Baltimore

Washington giving 6 points to anyone doesn’t make any sense to me.

Chicago +6 at Washington

Week one, I tend to go with a proven offense in a close call.

St. Louis -5.5 at San Fransico
Kansas City -3 hosting Jets
Minnesotta -6 hosting Tampa Bay

The rest are from the gut.

Atlanta +1.5 hosting Philadelphia
Dallas +4.5 at San Diego
Pittsburg -7 hosting Tennessee
Giants -3 hosting Arizona
New Orleans +7 at Carolina
Buffalo -4.5 hosting Houston
Denver -4.5 at Miami

I’m not a fan of Parcells, but I do believe that he’s got one hell of a running game this year. As for the other ones, I don’t want to jinx myself. The first few weeks are pure agony, so bear with me. By week 6 the system will start to make sense…I hope!

Are ya ready for some football ? You bet I am chris ! 🙂

Oh Hell Yes! It started off with Miami-Florida St. and the Pats game for me…I’m in a really good place right now!

Not to mention that I’m 6-2-1 at halftime of the 1PM games…hope this keeps up. A lot of times when you start up 3-4 games after 1PM, the schedule manages to humble you badly by Tuesday.

With 8 minutes left and Indy up by 17, I think it’s safe to say that I’m 8-6 leading into Monday night’s game. Much better than I expected to do…the season is looking good so far.
