A Sweet Father Moment

Sam was crying and I went in to see what was up. Recently we had to move them into seperate cribs because the single couldn’t hold them anymore. We’re moving next Sunday, so instead of buying a new crib we’ve been rotating one in the port-o-crib that sits on the floor.

So I go in and pick him up. He starts looking around the second my hands are on him. As he makes it up to my shoulder, he sees his brother in the crib and a smile comes to his face. I changed his diaper and fed him, but he would have been cool if I’d have put him back down at that point.

He woke up and couldn’t find his brother. When they’re on the floor together now there are times when they talk to one another…the connection they have is something special, and it makes me feel really good.
